1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the MobixKhata mobile application, website, or backend cloud synchronization services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue using the application.
2. Description of Service
MobixKhata provides modern point-of-sale (POS) barcode checkout, digital credit and debit ledger management (Khata), ESC/POS Bluetooth thermal printing, stock inventory tracking, and multi-device cloud backup services tailored for independent retail merchants, wholesalers, and shopkeepers.
3. Free Usage & Pro Subscriptions
MobixKhata offers both permanent free offline features and optional premium subscriptions:
- Free Forever Tier: Unlimited offline POS sales, unlimited customer credit ledger entries, expense logging, and local barcode checkout.
- Pro Subscription Plans: $1.99 USD billed monthly or $22.99 USD billed annually (with local regional currency equivalent as set by app store pricing tiers).
- In-App Billing: Payments are processed directly through Google Play Store Billing or Apple App Store In-App Purchases via RevenueCat. We never directly collect or hold your payment card numbers.
- Auto-Renewal & Cancellation: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can easily manage or cancel anytime directly in your Google Play or App Store account settings.
4. Merchant Responsibility & Data Accuracy
As the shopkeeper or merchant, you retain exclusive control over the customer records, pricing, debt balances, tax calculations, and payment statuses entered into MobixKhata. You are responsible for ensuring that all figures recorded comply with your local commercial, consumer, and tax accounting requirements.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
The software architecture, UI layouts, graphic designs, icons, trademarks, and documentation of MobixKhata remain the exclusive property of MobixKhata. We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app to run and manage your store operations.
6. Limitation of Liability
MobixKhata is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we provide redundant local caching, automatic sync recovery, and data encryption, we are not liable for incidental business interruptions, lost profits, or hardware connectivity issues arising from third-party Bluetooth printers or device operating system constraints.
7. Modifications to Terms
We may revise these Terms of Service as new capabilities or regulations emerge. Continued use of MobixKhata after revisions are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
